Meditation: Narration of the Heart * Sage Parnassussource: https://sageparnassus.com/meditation-narration-of-the-heart/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=meditation-narration-of-the-heartAt the 2021 Living Education Retreat, I delivered the opening conversazione on the theme "Meditation" which set the tone for the retreat. Today, I would like to share the audio of that presentation. Charlotte Mason put a heavy emphasis on meditation for the parent and the child. This talk explores what she meant by meditation and looks deeply at this neglected Christian practice. There is a not-surprising correlation between how we read Scripture and our school books! And the phrase, "read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest" might come to life in a new way for you. Please listen and see what Mason called "the most important part of the preparation of the mother"! The slides that accompany this talk are also below, as well as the picture for the picture study. I hope you enjoy listening along and are encouraged to pursue Christian meditation in your life, no matter what season you are in.Warmly,NancyBelow is a print of Three Women in Church by Leibl which we do a picture study on during the talk.
