I had a great time chatting with Kerry Ann Todd when she interviewed me for her new Homeschool Invitation series. We talked about the one piece of advice I wish someone had given me when I first started home educating my children, my biggest challenge these days, and how I try to teach a broad and inclusive history to my little people.

As you watch you may wonder why I keep touching my face, twisting in my chair, and randomly being weird. Well, that is what happens when you take a shower and wash your hair 8 minutes before you're supposed to be on camera. I threw the wet mess up into a high bun, but water was trickling down my face and neck the ENTIRE time! I needed a towel so badly, and all I could do is try to look introspective with my hand on the side of my face while I tried to catch and swipe water with my fingers. Enjoy watching me squirm!
